Audit committee
The AIREA plc audit committee is chaired by Martin Toogood. Meetings are also attended by invited executive directors. The committee normally meets twice during the financial year, around the time we prepare interim and final results.
The committee supports the board in ensuring appropriate accounting policies, internal financial controls and compliance procedures are in place. It also reviews the drafts of the interim and final results before submission to the board, and provides a forum for external auditors to report to the board.
