Directors
Martin Toogood joined the group as an independent non executive director on 1 April 2009, and was appointed independent non-executive chairman on 6 November in the same year. Martin has considerable experience at executive and non-executive level, most recently with ILVA in Scandinavia and the UK, B&Q in the UK, Carpetright in the UK and Europe and Habitat in the UK and internationally.
Neil Rylance joined the group as managing director of the group’s floor coverings business on 2 June 2008 and was appointed chief executive officer on 13 June 2008. He is an experienced business leader with a strong background in multinational manufacturing companies serving customers in competitive markets. Most recently he was Executive Vice President – Europe with Field Group.
Company Secretary
Roger Salt joined the group in April 2004 and was appointed company secretary on 8 June 2009. Roger is a chartered accountant and is also finance director of the group’s operating businesses.
